Extra Large Bamboo Bath Sheets: Full Coverage and Better Absorbency

A standard bath towel is often too small to wrap comfortably. An oversized bath sheet gives you more fabric, better coverage, and more surface area to dry off effectively. It wraps fully around your body and provides a more comfortable experience after every shower.

Why Bamboo Bath Sheets Stay Fresher

Musty odors happen when moisture stays trapped in thick fibers, allowing bacteria to build up. Bamboo is naturally resistant to odor, bacteria and mildew, helping your towel stay fresher between washes.

Designed for Everyday Comfort and Performance

  • Oversized bath sheet for full body coverage
  • Plush, highly absorbent bamboo and cotton blend
  • Helps stay fresher between washes
  • Ideal for shower, beach, and pool use

Made from a balanced 50% viscose from Bamboo and 50% Cotton blend, these bath sheets are thick, absorbent, and comfortable without feeling heavy or stiff. Bamboo helps resist odor and mildew, helping your towel stay fresher between washes.

Use it after the shower. Take it to the beach. Bring it to the pool. This is an oversized bath sheet designed for real coverage, strong absorbency, and everyday use.

Extra Large Bamboo Bath Sheets: Size, Absorbency, Care & FAQs

What is the difference between a bath sheet and a bath towel?

A bath sheet is larger than a standard bath towel. Our oversized bamboo bath sheet measures 37” x 70”, while a typical bath towel is around 30” x 54”. That extra size gives you full coverage, better wrap, and more surface area to dry off quickly. If a regular towel feels too small, a bath sheet fixes that immediately.

Is a 37” x 70” bath sheet big enough for full coverage?

Yes. At 37 inches wide and 70 inches long, this bath sheet comfortably wraps around taller bodies and broader frames. It’s designed for people who want real coverage, not a towel that barely meets in the middle.

Is 600 GSM considered thick for a bath towel?

Yes. 600 GSM (grams per square meter) is considered plush and substantial without being overly heavy. It’s thick enough to feel soft and absorbent, but not so dense that it takes forever to dry.

Are bamboo bath sheets more absorbent than cotton?

Bamboo fibers are highly absorbent and help manage moisture efficiently. In this 50% bamboo / 50% cotton blend, you get:

  • Bamboo softness and freshness
  • Cotton durability and structure

The result is a bath sheet that dries you off thoroughly instead of just moving water around.

Will bamboo bath sheets smell less musty than cotton?

Towels smell when moisture stays trapped in the fibers. Bamboo fibers are naturally resistant to odors, bacteria and mildew. That means you can often reuse your towel longer before washing, especially if you hang it fully-open to dry.

Is this bath sheet good for the beach or pool?

Yes. The oversized 37” x 70” size makes it great as:

  • A beach towel
  • A pool towel
  • A travel towel for resorts

It’s large enough to lounge on and thick enough to dry off comfortably.

Customer Reviews

I didn’t think something this soft could actually work, but this bath sheet is now my favorite towel. It’s that good.

Plush & Soft

It dries better than my old cotton towels, and it doesn’t get that damp smell. It still feels fresh even after multiple uses.

Stays Fresher, longer

You barely have to try and you’re dry. It absorbs water immediately. I ended up buying more as gifts and everyone loves them.

Fast Drying

The size makes a huge difference. It wraps fully around you and dries fast, but still feels soft and not bulky.

Melange Towels FAQs

How do you wash melange towels?

We recommend a gentle liquid detergent, and laundering in warm water and dry on medium. Bamboo towels are fairly thick and naturally moisture wicking, which means they may take another 5-10 minutes longer to dry than all cotton towels. But the benefits of bamboo outweight cotton all day long, so its worth it!

What detergent do you recommend for melange bamboo towels?

Some recommendations are: Ecos, Mrs. Myers, Woolite, Seventh Generation, ECover, or Kirkland Ultra Clean. We don't recommend bleach, fabric softeners, washer balls or dryer sheets/balls. We’ve noticed that harsher detergents can break down the fibers faster, shortening the lifespan of the towels.

Do melange bamboo towels snag?

When laundered properly they do not easily snag, but if you do develop one; simply cut the snag with sharp scissors and it should not continue to run. Try NOT to launder bamboo towels with things that can stick or cling, such as velcro or hooks.

Do melange bamboo towels get a smell?

One great benefit of bamboo towels is that they are naturally odor, mildew and bacteria resistant. They should never smell, even if you accidentally left a load of bamboo towels in the washer all day; you won't have to rerun them like you would with cotton towels.

Can I hang dry melange towels?

Yes, and the handy hanging tag means they can dry overnight on a hook, toss over a rod, or hang from a towel ring. They'll be dry for you the next day.

Can I reuse melange towels before washing?

Absolutely, and for many days. Because they resist odors, you can reuse the towel for 3-7 days before laundering. This is a nice laundry time-saver!

What do you use to get a stain out of melange towels?

Oil, lotion or blood stains can be removed by trying either of the following: pPrewash the towels with ¼ cup Dawn dish washing liquid and then launder as usual, Dawn is a natural degreaser. Spray Oxy Clean or a non-bleach spot remover directly onto the stain then launder. If blood stain, the person who bled can add saliva to the spot and their own natural acids will break down the stain, rinse in cold water, then launder.

Will the towel colors fade?

They should never fade. Our reactive dyes keep the colors deep and true. We don’t recommend bleach. We do recommend laundering with similar colors, such as lights with lights, and dark with darks to keep the colors from bleeding.
